Insulation — in your attic or walls, under your floor, or covering your ductwork — is the most basic thing that you can add to make your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, cut your utility bills, and keep out unwanted noise.
Since heat will always flow toward cold, it is essential to have proper insulation — not only in your attic, but also under your floor and in your walls.
Total Comfort is a cut above the rest when it comes to products and installation. We primarily use Johns Manville fiberglass — which will not burn, is up to 60% recycled, and is free of formaldehyde and other harmful chemicals.
We also know that it’s the details that make insulation work as it should, so we take the time and care to do it right. Our checklist includes: baffeling, damming and venting in the attic; proper density, a full fill and careful patching in the walls; and full and permanent support under the floor without compressions.
Just like everything else in life, if insulation is worth doing, it’s worth doing right.
